Only love can save them…
Wren O’Hara is waiting for the day she succumbs to mental illness like her mother. When she is attacked by a psychotic client at work, and saved by what must be an angel, she fears the time for insanity has come.
Little does she know, her savior is an immortal warrior druid named Riagan Tenman, and that he will challenge everything she ever thought she knew about reality.
Now Wren must decide if the fantasy unfolding before her is true, or if she has finally lost her mind.
I am really liking the fantasy books I have been reading lately!
I was undecided as to potential expectations as I dove in Destiny Fulfilled and I was really pleasantly surprised.
I alwasy say that I go reading books with an open mind, but then I select them based on the their blurbs and usually have an inkling on the level of love I will have for it.
Here, I was unsure, it happens!
Well, I really enjoyed it!
It was well written, good pace, the characters were well rounded and I liked the story overall. I enjoyed a few unexpected surprised and some fighting too! So overall I was a happy girl!
I really liked Wren, from the beginning, you get a good sense of who she is, her back story (a little) and what is going on around her, well until her life is upended by a druid!
Happens every day, right?
Riagan was kinda cool too!
He made for some entrance into Wren’s life!
I am not telling you, ok all I can say is that a brow lifted and there might have been a smirk…
Truly.. I really do not want to spoil it for you. I always say, gotta read the book and this one is really truly lovely and a good read! I finished it in one go and I am truly hoping for a follow up.
I believe we have plenty of room for a lot more adventures and I would love to see more of Wren, Riagan and some of the other characters.
Yesterday it was about Mages, today Druids, soon at the rate I am going I should be able to offer you a Paladin or a Daemon Hunter! (I play way too much WOW these days).
But really, Destiny Fulfilled was great, I had a wonderful time reading it and like I said before I hope we get more adventures with these two. If you want a good book to relax and take your mind off things, then I will highly recommend this one to you all!
I had a good time reading it, and I very expect you will too!
